Hard to argue with that and I'm glad we've got 3 players in there and Touray and Ben got recognition. Still think Touray had a patchy season though when played out of position but has finished and started this season strong. Injuries and the performance of the Notts lads make it difficult but Tanto, Madden and Sarcevic should have all been in with a shout for the attacking slots. p.s. It would be a hilarious team to watch. Basically 4-0-6. .mullin and langstaff scored more than madden and tanto and thats definitely what theyve gone off. Sarcevic didn't score or assist as many as those 3 midfielders

In the 90s getting to the 1st division playoffs felt like a natural position for County...after admin, non league and now the mark stott era... mid table EFL1 feels like our default place ...given the refurbishment of EP extra fans, and income who knows where we will end up But if you look at the size of the clubs in the championship just staying in that division would be a mammoth task but the dream of getting back into it is real... fantastic... Would you have it any other way Feel the club is in a much stronger place than we were the last time we went up into the 2nd tier. Even our fan base is larger and once the ground expension gets under way and promotion to that level will increase. Cannot see a reason we could not be a club that cannot stick around at that level but any promotions from there seems a step too far. Dealing with teams who get money for failure who could out bid us for any player available is not a level playing field. Our biggest problem could occur if DC gets an offer he could not refuse and we appoint the wrong man to succeed him.

It proves that players who'd get nowhere near a team of the year as they're not "blockbuster" but do the heavy lifting are essential to a successful side. Also slightly ironic that we scored 96 goals and have no attacking players in the team of the year. It does however show just how much depth we needed due to injuries and everyone chipping in with their fair share.

Pretty embarrassing to spell his surname wrong isnt it? Granted its a fairly common/easy mistake but considering the PFA will probably have copies of every clubs player database on their system is pretty shit to spell wrong.

That is just unbelievably disrespectful.

Pretty remarkable to think some of the stick Touray was given from our own fans both in the grounds and online, only for his peers to vote him into the team of the season!

Notwithstanding me still just just being happy County’s in the football league, I’ll gladly see the back of the almost SPL-like lack of jeopardy over which teams will finish runners-up behind Citeh every season… In the 90s getting to the 1st division playoffs felt like a natural position for County...after admin, non league and now the mark stott era... mid table EFL1 feels like our default place ...given the refurbishment of EP extra fans, and income who knows where we will end up But if you look at the size of the clubs in the championship just staying in that division would be a mammoth task but the dream of getting back into it is real... fantastic... Would you have it any other way I'm 30 in a couple of weeks and this is genuinely the only time I've been able to dream as a County fan, started going in the 99/00 season - so it's certainly nice to dream

Woots needs to keep producing because at the moment He is the only one who can do his job in the squad..... With just over a week to go until the window closes. I have said it before Stephen Humphrys is sill a free agent and would provide that extra quality woots and the squad needs Wishful thinking... but I think we need competition in that area Never seen Mellon play so I can't comment on him if he was supposed to provide that
