He’s been so unlucky with injuries and I really do wish him well. Hopefully he gets to enjoy playing and scoring regularly whilst staying injury free 🤞🏻

He won’t have his arm twisted. If he ends up there and not here at the end of his contract it will be because we haven’t offered him anything not because of any “arm twisting”. |

He's only there until January, if he does well and we offer him an extension he'll take it. Yeah I'm sure he's absolutely chomping at the bit to properly prove himself in a County shirt. Not had much luck in his time with us so far. Hopefully he can get a good string of games under his belt at Oldham, score a few & come back to us in January fit & full of confidence. Is easy to forget he’s only 23, so he’s still got age on his side. A return might not work out, but I’d really love to see it happen for him here. |

I like STretton and think he could play a good part for us covers all the front 4 positions he just kind of been a forgotten man, if he'd have stayed fit since he signed I'd have backed him to have developed into an integral part of the first team squad, hope he smashes it there then i'd look offer 12 month extension and bring him back 2nd half season if he does, if he doesnt then a fresh start somewhere would be best for him, somewhere like Burton back nearer to home and somewhere he would get regular games

Who would he actually replace in the starting 11. At best a place on the bench and you can argue even that. Nothing wrong in dropping to the NL especially with a team with a decent chance of promotion in a bang average league which it is this season. |

Given we signed him from a League One club and paid a decent fee for him, you'd imagine the club did at the time. He's coming off the back of a major long-term injury and is still young enough to find form and make an impact for us. If he's flying come January then there's no reason he can't come back here and earn an extension. |

If he comes back because hes banging them in every game then id be abit worried because you would then think that our other 3 strikers aren't scoring enough. Stretton isn't a goalscoring machine and before he joined us permanently he played 44 times and scoring 6 goals. In his career hes scored 11 in 64 so 1 in 6. Due to injurys hes not really played constant football (before joining us permanently he had, had a few injurys) hes simply not going to get that with us which is probably what he needs as still a young player who can develop. I like stretton, seems to be a nice person and liked in the dressing room but if we give him a new contracts even just 1 year to start with he will be 25 at the start of it. Which is how old olaofe will be in a month and a bit. Olaofe has played 163 times scoring 53 times so close to 1 in 3. Personally, keep him at oldham until end of season or move him to a league 2 club and re assess come end of season |
