I counted 27 on the squad pic including only two U21s and three keepers so someone is going to be leaving. If there's 2 U21s and 3 GKs then that leaves 22, which is the maximum number we can register. Bear in mind, Chadwick's gone and Stretton won't be playing either, so that brings it down to 20. Players will likely leave, but it's not due to squad size restrictions. Since then, Chadwick's gone out on loan and we've brought in Barry and Richardson. Only Richardson needs registering, so that's still 20 who need registering; 19 when you bump Stretton off who won't be. Leaves room for 3 more over-21 signings without need to sell anyone. Thanks. Feel like a 3-4-3 would leave us way too open, particularly if we played both Knoyle and Touray at the side centre backs and Camps as one of the two central midfielders (not that we’ll necessarily do all those things simultaneously). Don’t you? Genuinely interested. No more open than playing last season’s formation with Camps in midfield and Knoyle at RCB. Hmmm, I can see what you mean but not sure. Feel that Wootton with Sarce behind provides more pressing than Powell in the middle of a front three. Partially dependent on how good the wide men are at pressing, though. Camps as one of the two deepest central midfielders will be a problem in any formation, in my view. |

Seems the way of the game nowadays which isn,t confined to County. Would be very interesting indeed to know of any club starting their season today that has a full squad to pick from due to injuries. Its something now all fans seem to expect without finding the reasons why this has been happening more and more over the years. |

Luke Armstrong has made himself unavailable for selection today for Harrogate.
I know he has been linked with a few league one clubs and some have mentioned him as competition for Wooton, and a decent replacement until he is fit.
Could be some movement somewhere in the next day or two

We still need a rw but banks won't be that player. I really hope we don't rely on olaofe playing on the wing when we have Barry on the left.

They were missing Boyle and Hayden yesterday I believe, no reason for them to be looking at their defence because they'll be better once those two are back. But they scored 3 goals without Mullin and they're still going to go and get another proper centre forward. |
