I hate to be a pedant but he was talking about how far out the Wigan mistake was, not where Evans shot from. I know, but metres? Nobody uses metres in football, unless maybe how quickly someone can cover a relatively short distance. It's never 'Fevrier shot from 15 metres out', it's always yards. One good thing about metric measurements is it helps old gits like me keep their brain active by mentally converting them back to imperial.

It was a cracking final 15 minutes to the Mansfield v Brum early kick off - real frantic end to end stuff from both teams. Finished 1-1. Mansfield doing well at the moment.

After taking just one point from their first 9 games, Cambridge United have just won three in a row!

I am a pessimist but I look for the bottom teams to lose at the moment. I don’t want us to start getting dragged into a relegation battle…last time were sort of mid table was in the NL first season. It seemed we were doing well at the time.

Do not think anybody was happy until we started to make the PO because nobody wanted to be playing at that level.

Before the money came in I felt more patient and trusted the process

I'd take a hand off now for a mid table season of consolidation and then a bit of a reckoning come the end of the season with this group of players.
