Great to see Glen Taylor on the pitch at half time, well done to the club for organising it. Also noticed Minihan and Hogan were at the game too. I actually found the glen taylor thing quite odd really. Someone who never played for us, someone most fans had little knowledge of who actually scored against a promotion rival. If chorley had done a similar thing with say a nuneaton player scoring a winner against us in that final game and invited him back they,d be at least accused of being tin pot.

Got to my seats yesterday and somebody else has the same seat numbers on their tickets so didn't make a fuss. I think it happened to a few with us in the family stand. Had to sit right next to the cowboy schoolboys with my 10 year old which wasn’t what I paid for. Why do they double sell seats ?

Won't be Accrington, still got Coleman in charge after all these years and the chairman has his head screwed on straight. Morecambe on the other hand are very much in trouble, still got dodgy owners (same people that sent Worcester rugby out of business) and have told all their out-of-contact players to leave. Even Cole Stockton, whom you'd imagine most L2 suffers would be after and is worth at least a token offer. The fact that Morecambe will need a major recruitment drive during the summer, & will probably struggle to attract players of quality having just gone down, doesn't bode well for them. Notice they've given a free to Connor Ripley, who by all accounts is quite a decent keeper.

Think it was probably a couple of years too late...

I said similar yesterday. Bit of an odd one. Glad I’m not the only one. Utterly bizarre. It was just a bit of fun, a bit of (albeit recent) nostalgia for a hugely significant moment in our history

Just out of interest... did many stay for the lap of honour? I thought it was pointless, as we have another game to play, so left the ground as usual. I guess the emotions of the play offs means that it'll either be a pitch invasion, or everyone gutted and just goes home? I stayed and it was well received the Cheadle End were in good voice, I was in the Main Stand and the majority stayed and applauded.

I know reffing is diabolical most of the time but today Disallowed goal today goal was given and the assistant job is to return to his position not stand there in front of Hpool venom watching a replay Shocking But…. In Tranmere game ref missed the most obvious handball of the year Why can’t we get refs for the biggest games of the year who are grateful for the gig and keen to stick to the rules. He was no worse than what we regularly get. He went with the lino on the non goal incident because he had a side view of it and not behind the incident. At least we got a rarety, 2 penalty decisions in our favour that we did not take advantage of. Must admit the last two home games do not give me much confidence going into the PO. Two goals scored against the two relegated teams at EP in the last two games. If we do not get a good result at salford our lack of a cutting edge at EP might come back to haunt us. He allowed the goal as did his linesman. A combination of the Hartlepool players getting in the linesman's face and the Hartlepool fans giving him grief from behind resulted in the decision.

I’m sure we can all agree the next logical move is to bring Iain Dowie back for a game.
