DC Now. He is ok at non league level, we need a Mark Hughes type to integrate better experienced players with the likes of Barry etc. DC hasnt a clue. Not a great first contribution tbqhwy. My suspicions were raised by the inability to understand how capitalisation works, exacerbated by the lazy dismissal of DC as a non-league manager and confirmed by the proposal that we need a Mark Hughes type. I only wish our strikers were that efficient.

Took us up after we played catch up and won the league. Took us, in our first season, within a whisker of back to back promotions. And you're suggesting he hasn't a clue and to bring in, Mark Hughes. Lifetime ban, for me.

He should have taken the Charlton job.
Unless this way, he gets a payoff , and Charlton will still have him.

Just wonder if that was the reason the players looked flat yesterday and the length of time he has left at the club. There is a big difference in a side showing an interest in having him to having talks with him.

While I do think DC has been let down on recruitment - like both of his predecessors since the takeover - that’s got to almost entirely be on him. Why would players be 100% focussed on the game when their boss hasn’t been?

I mean we can't be loyal to any manager we have to be loyal to the club that's what matters no matter what DC's done for us in the first two years with us

Said last season after watching bradford that hughes was the reason they only made the PO with the players he had at his disposal. Seems things have not improved with him. Think his name is extending his time there rather than his actual ability in the job and some unknown bloke would have gone by now. He would be the perfect fit for our welsh friends being a bigger name and sounding more welsh than phil parkinson.

Then you cannot be loyal to a manager if after two years of success has to be given another two of failure before anything can be done about it. Not saying he should be sacked but he is paid for success and not for failure. Many comments made today could feel all stupid when next may arrives but none of us are mystics.

Managers who have delivered success at a club are naturally cut more slack by fans when things aren't going well; that's loyalty to the manager.

Not one for hiring and firing managers at will as more often than good teams rarely improve after at best a honeymoon period. At County i think you,d be pushed to find a full handful of different names who have pushed us on after being appointed. The best most have done is just treaded water.

Such a weird feeling with DC. Rusk used to actually make me a bit angry, but what is happening with Dave makes me feel a bit sad. I'm desperate for him to get it right, but he keeps proving he can't change a game. Wish he'd gone to Charlton with all our best wishes, but I fear the worst for him.

It's literally the opposite of blind faith though; backing Simon Rusk to turn things round would have been blind faith. Loyalty to a manager in the bad times is earned through success in the good times. And back to the original point; it's not a choice between loyalty to a manager and loyalty to a club. You can have loyalty to both.
