Maybe if you check your confirmation of your payment for your S/T it will tell whether you paid extra for your ticket to be delivered. Ours came today and we paid £3.95 to have them posted out. Just a thought. Hmm. £3.95 sounds like the kind of unseemly amount that would have had me strongly considering the option of a lunchtime stroll down Shaw Heath, for the good of my health/pocket. Added to which, I've just rifled through the pile of post by the front door, and found nothing with an Edgeley postcode in evidence. I did however unearth an uncashed cheque from the DVLA for a partial refund of road tax in the sum of £6.66. So by my reckoning that leaves me £10.61 to the good, and with a game in hand. Maybe I'll treat myself to a horse-drawn carriage down to SK3, pick the bloody thing up in style.

In the same boat. Just had the same email's. I know i opted for a physical ticket when booking but the flawless ticketing system has put me down for e-tickets. Called the club to rectify and they want £10 per ST to issue a physical card. Does anyone know if you had to pay when originally ordering ? Abit annoying that it's being presented as my fault when i know i selected a physical ticket. The system constantly shits itself when it's under pressure, we've had to take it offline numerous times, season ticket seats get put on open sale but there's no way - no way! - the system would reset a field halfway through a complex process [looks at camera] not a chance.

Nothing to do with my experience but when i went to collect my tickets yesterday morning, their was a fella infront of me at the window and it took him about 10 minutes as the staff were saying his tickets had been cancelled and he was adamant that they hadn't and he didn't want them cancelled. Anyway in the end he got his tickets and the staff apologised and said there must have been a system error. The man said he understood that it wasn't their fault but i guess was panicking abit that he wasn't going to get his season tickets

Same with me - 100% selected the option for a physical card and didn’t check my confirmation email.
Not too fussed as the e-ticket is convenient enough for me but I wanted the option of both. Won’t bother calling/emailing as I won’t take kindly being gaslit into saying I ticked something I didn’t.

I think on the quiet they know it’s a possibility and are now relying on the fact that people didn’t query the e-mail confirmation. Not a great example of customer service. Wonder how many people it has actually impacted. Some might disagree but for me this is something the Co-op could look at , try to ascertain how many it’s affected and approach the club on their behalf.

Our S/T’s came in separate envelopes with 1st class postage so no doubt a % of that will be ‘handling’ cost.

e-ticket for me, but I'm seriously tempted to print the QR code out at high res and glue/Sellotape it to an old credit card so it fits nicely in my (physical) wallet. Might even get it laminated 😂 I’m getting mine tattooed on my hand, unless I lose it in an industrial accident, seems pretty fail safe.
