Given how they did such a good job on the concourse, the lounges and the exterior, much needed refresh/modernising of a tired old stand. It's absolute bonkers that they seem to have made a right mess of the most important part. If it was done by volunteers then it very much shows. Somehow managed to make it look worse. Do you think anyone from the club reads threads like this?
On the current issue of dirty and improperly fixed seats, I'm thinking in particular of Richard Simkin, Steve Walker and Rick Hinks, who would appear from their job titles (at least) to have some input and interest in the way the stadium is run/maintained.
Oh, and by the way, if the reported dust and dirt in the Upper tier is in any way made up of pigeon-related debris (to put it politely!) then it's not just messy, but a recognised health hazard that needs specialised cleaning, and fast.
And if any of the seats are still not correctly fixed by the time of Saturday's game, they should be clearly marked off and not used.

Looks like the same pies, mash and peas are being served up at Stockport Town… wonder if they do chips as well?

Feedback from supporters, good or bad should be taken on board. I've said previously everything they've done so far (apart from the obvious) has been great and an improvement for the club. Those seats at first glance, they appear to somehow have made a real pigs ear of it!

I see the goal netting has changed to all white instead of blue and white stripes. I wish they'd put the blue and white striped netting up though. It looks nicer and all I remember from the white goal netting is all the bad times from 2010 onwards, constant relegations from the Football League. Rubbish performances and eventually lingering as a mid-table team in the National League North. Until we changed the netting again back to blue and white, where we performed better and got promoted back to the National League. We also had blue and white striped netting during our promotion season in 07/08. When I think of Edgeley Park, I always get the image of the blue and white netting because of the good times.

He’s not complaining, just saying he prefers a different type of netting. Hardly the fall of the Roman Empire is it?

I wonder if it's a weather issue? Those rows will always get rained on whereas depending on wind direction, the ones further back won't always? Seems a really odd thing to do without there being a practical reason for it. That was my thought, they look like the same type used in the Railway End which presumably are more weatherproof. just building anything thats supposed to be undercover that allows fans to get wet in the first few rows needs addressing when anything new is being built at EP. if nothing can be done sell these tickets at a reduced price like those with a badly restricted view.

And watch those tickets sell and the buyers then plonk themselves elsewhere in the ground .....

Happens in pretty much all stands without a restricted view though, the roof is effectively useless for the first few rows. Ponchos are normally given out by some clubs.

I’ll copy and paste this to you next time you think your opinion trumps someone else’s on something you disagree with.
