Is Gary Stopforth the live singer? Or corporate used to spin us some cash back in the day. The squatters took it over hived it out and then farmed it out to a third party supplier.

The Mothers DAy thing is fine but only for them that can really afford it. There will be many more this year who will struggle to buy a bunch of daffs. for their ma.

Thought this looked smart yesterday, if not a bit extravagant.

It looked proper posh and sure we'll see more of this in the future and not just when the cameras are there

"The site subject of this full planning application is owned by SCFC and is immediately the east of the stadium" "Critically, the proposals represent the first step in the Club’s 5 year growth strategy, and which will comprise a range of wider stadium improvement works. The Club will work with the Council and other key stakeholders to develop a strategy which will underpin future planning applications at the site."

Great news that we’ve got the Bungalow and land behind it! Looking at the designs I’m surprised by how much land is still there with the new housing estate.
Plenty of room to facilitate any future developments at that end and the pop side.

That bit about a three year car park sent me west. The second bit sounds a little more promising.
I do hope it’s not three years before we see any new stuff. We’re clearly outgrowing current capacity.
I want to see behind the Pop Side and Railway cleared and loads of concrete and noise happening yesterday.
Needs more urgency than where we are presently. Fully aware things like this can take a long time to get going hence the seemingly lack of anything properly going on.

That’s when the land behind the Pop Side kicks in.

Have to admit i had no idea how much land was still available behind the Railway end, after the houses had been built

And that'll stop those pesky residents watching from their bedroom windows, and getting on tv for big games. I know it's petty and about 12,465 on the list of things to put right, but I'll be happy when that gets sorted!!

I think the plan was always to do the Popside as a new Main Stand first. I thought maybe the rush for more capacity might make the order change (Railway End replacement would be less disruptive to current capacity as it could be built behind) but I guess not. I fully expect we will have seen some capacity increase before three years is up. I think we have to.

Also on that, a three year planning application doesn’t mean it would be a car park for three years. Could be that they plan on redeveloping starting a year or two from now but want the cushion in case of delays.
