Agree. A return to the championship with the railway end in it's current state & offering away allocations of 850 would be a bit embarrassing IMO. Absolutely no harm at all in hanging around in league 1 for a period of time whilst the ground is upgraded & also for the policy of buying young talent to potentially move on for substantial profit also bears fruit. I'd quite enjoy it. I'd rather give Leeds 850 than 2500. Make it a horrible place to come for away fans and players. Let them squeeze into changing rooms that Curzon Ashton and Leamington were sat in less than ten years ago. I still think we're more than capable of a top 6 finish this season and will be a little bit disappointed if we don't finish up there, which I'm sure the hard of thinking will consider spoilt and entitled. And if we don't finish top 6, I'm sure we'll throw another sack load of money and resources at it in the summer to make sure we do next year. We've got two seasons after this to achieve Stott's goal. I don't for a second think anybody at the club is even considering not meeting it. I'm wholly confident we'll be a Championship club in 2027, probably before. I also agree we're more than capable of making the top 6 (I've got us there in a pre-season accumulator) but neither would it be a disaster if we fell just short.

I might be being well thick here, but, a virtual town? As in the size of the development. Rather than it being some sort of VR Oculus Headset wonderland. It would be amazing if the planning permission was approved for a single booth, containing a chair and a headset, surrounded by hundreds of acres of open countryside. Aside: it wouldn't, we need houses

Careful, you'll be accused of saying we're going to piss the league this year, which is something I've seen people claim others have been saying. Despite no one on here, even those of us like me and you who thought/think we'll do well, having said so.

I can hear them warming up to point out we didn't actually piss the league last year, we only won it by a few points and on another day we might not have won it and this season they'd be happy with 14th and we're learning and we're going to be inconsistent and Wycombe beat us 5-0 so never get excited about promotion ever again and zzzzzzzzzzz. I don't care where we were a few years ago, or even 12 months ago. Finishing outside of the top 6 this season, with this squad, this manager, our resources etc will be a bit of a disappointment for me. Finishing outside of the top 10 would be very disappointing. Anything below that and we've had a poor season, all things considered.

9500? so 10% would be 950 how are we getting away with giving less than that currently with a bigger capacity? Capacity isn't number of seats available once you consider segregation, closed off areas of the ground etc. And then of the 10% of the total number of seats available, the away club will cream off some for corporates, families, hangers on etc. I wonder how many Bournemouth give away fans, their capacity isn't much bigger than ours is it?

Lots of clubs really like our allocation for away fans, they like to say how its ridiculous even though they often brought fewer in the past.

Supposedly 1500 with the capacity to rise to 2000 if required according to an away days site.

The CE and main stand sell out most games (even though there are always loads of empty seats in the CE) The empty seats is possibly another result of the poor walk up experience, e.g. more are buying Season Tickets who won't attend every game in order to avoid the poor walk up experience for the games they do want to attend. Since we can watch games on the box i rarely go to mid week fixtures anymore especially in winter. The reason i purchased a ST was to avoid our ticketing system or having to sit in the RE for a sell out game where you can easily see many gaps in all stands. Said this before numerous times that fans who do not attend should inform the club so they can re sell the seats. Then we might get a full EP for a game and not a sell out but some missing.

Actually i,d prefer seeing a fully refurbished EP by 2027 than being in the championship. I honestly do not find games win, lose or draw any more exciting in league one than back in the good NLN days. A new EP will be around till a big number of us are not around anymore, but expensive players come and go quickly. Would be MS lasting legacy to the club that future generations can also enjoy.

I'm not sure someone can just release their Ticket? It can be upgraded, but isn't there an issue with double-selling if a Season Ticket seat is then sold again?
