Sounds like a complete replacement. Right thing to do I guess as the old new one came across so poorly on television and was too bright at night games Yep, they had to switch it off on Monday due to the effect it had on the BT cameras.

It's still there in the RE. If moving it was supposed to make it more visible it didn't work

Imagine that was the straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak. Guessing our more local/usual sponsors would have been promised some air time on there that they weren’t able to get.

They still had the electronic ad boards. The club don’t pick those sponsors though and I doubt get any money for them, other than the broadcasting fee.

Saw one for Stephenson’s and also for the club shop. Yeah there were, in injury time and also at half time etc as Sedulo and Virador also got their names on there. The VITA group and Club shop ones are a bit different, they were in game time, but wouldn’t surprise me if Stott paid for that coverage. Either way, point remains that we didn’t have dynamic advertising that was completely in our control due to the effect it has on the TV cameras.

I'm fairly sure it's been turned off for most if not all the games this season.

Yeah it’s always been naff for our camera though, wasn’t so much of a problem for highlights but wouldn’t work for streaming. It was 100% meant to be on for the West Ham game, I know that for a fact. But if BT couldn’t even get it to play nicely with the cameras, then replacing it is the right thing to do.

It’s the second one, I think it’s part of the match fee though. Either way though my point is being missed. Advertising on the scoreboard could have been sold and probably was, but couldn’t be used = lost revenue.
