Interestingly, after having a look on the website, there are various room options for hire including the Concourse (which is a new one to me) and they're advertising the Pitch for hire for Music/Food/Cinema night's - top capacity of 19,000. "Or 150 cars" for cinema nights. Hopefully not!

Even now it's been done up I can't imagine anyone wanting to hire the concourse, no harm taking their money if they do though

The concourse would be ideal for a shirt exhibition wouldn’t it? 🤔

RE EP ownership the most credible rumour that has done the rounds (probably even in this thread) is the council are willing to sell but want to see proof of long term commitment from the new regime. So that suggests to me we’ll see cosmetic changes and upgrades to revenue generating facilities but major works (new stands etc.) likely wouldn’t take place until the ownership has changed hands.

This all looks impressive. Fair play, big revenue generator that has being brought right up back up to date. Are those the fireworks from the West Ham game? 😂

North, south, east and west stands?
We'll have none of that nonsense thanks very much.

Another thing - on the video it looked like the Railway End flags have been replaced. Jolly good.

Looks incredible, only negative nancy comment from me is I hope they have good plans to protect the pitch during pre-season if it's going to be used quite often.]
I'm sure that's where Liam Cash will come in. I don't think it's quite as straight forward as just putting a bit of protection down on top of the turf.

There are ways to protect a pitch, they’re pricey but presumably will pay for itself over time. On the subject of the pitch it really does look fantastic considering how it was back in January/February. Shows just how good Liam Cash is at his job.

Does the club own it now then? Apologies if it's been covered but I haven't seen it. I remember the C&B was worth half a million a season when we last owned it and that was nigh on twenty years ago Even now it's been done up I can't imagine anyone wanting to hire the concourse, no harm taking their money if they do though Beer festival? Not sure who else, or why, would be interested, but hey it's another avenue

Not sure who else, or why, would be interested, but hey it's another avenue The tenancy agreement between the club and the council gave the club full usage rights of the ground. Hence why we made money from the concerts. We don’t need to own the ground to profit from c&b.

Another thing - on the video it looked like the Railway End flags have been replaced. Jolly good. Hopefully not with ruddy Irish tricolours! A series (20 or so, no need to be silly) of union flags, all currently at half-staff I would hope.

Looks awesome!
It’s the FK lounge that’s peaked my interests, with the mention of the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pitch. I can only assume it’s what had been the Joma Lounge which is above the old museum/WAG lounge.
That currently doesn’t have floor to ceiling windows, so suggests we’ll see some structural stuff happening too...
