Looks awesome! It’s the FK lounge that’s peaked my interests, with the mention of the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pitch. I can only assume it’s what had been the Joma Lounge which is above the old museum/WAG lounge. That currently doesn’t have floor to ceiling windows, so suggests we’ll see some structural stuff happening too... That is where I’m lead to believe the FK Lounge will be... what a name

There could have been some better naming of all the areas, there's plenty of County legends to choose from who deserve it

Naming things after players, whilst nice for us as fans, won't matter to people hosting events - and could make them sound a bit old fashioned compared to the image they're trying to pull off here.

Similar spaces at other grounds are named after players, I'm not sure 'The FK lounge' means a lot to anyone, it's hardly the end of the world, it'd be nice though

At the risk of embarrassment, I've been thinking while browsing the site what 'FK' means/refers to. I'm still none the wiser. 8.7.3

Maybe it was part of the deal on the cladding?

I doubt it will be used on a match day for sponsors, you can’t have sight of the pitch in a room that serves alcohol. They also won’t be able to offer catering up there, so sponsors will still be making the walk from the cheadle end I would imagine.

I thought you could have alcohol in sight of the pitch if you were behind a window in an enclosed space. Like the boxes at other grounds.

It’s a crazy rule. Admittedly I’ve not been to hospitality for a couple of seasons. But a quick google suggests the rules are the same.

I know someone who had a box at Wembley while Tottenham were there and I could have sworn he was boozing in it. Must have had the blinds drawn (I’m not disputing you at all btw, just saying I must have misinterpreted his pictures).

The games I’ve watched have always been Prem or EFL when we’re entertaining clients in a previous role I had.

One of our directors at work has a box at United and I've been in it a few times, it's very easy to get away with when its an individual box and you're inside the room. Unfortunately a bit different when its a lounge of multiple people in direct eyes of club staff. The director if he wanted to sit on the balcony rather than in the box would basically drink spirits, obscene to think you have to be clandestine with your drink to enjoy the match when you're paying around £50,000.00 a season for the privilege. The staff at the United box basically leave you alone during the match that the only way they'd clock you is if someone spotted you at the window, knew which box it was, and then reported you. It really is a terrible rule.
