A report on the news suggested brexit could actually make it more difficult for us to remove these people. Yeah it will. The tweet that suedehead posted explains it. The agreement that allows us to send refugees back to another EU country where they've previously claimed asylum will end at the end of the transition period and we'll also no longer by allowed to enter French waters without permissions, so once the boats reach UK waters we'll be obliged by law to assist in bringing it to the shore. There's a wonderful irony in that. mind you it should not come as a shock to anyone that this would happen. i,m afraid its too late for the little englanders to change their minds now about their lifes ambition, brexit.

What a horrible, nasty, little insular, and parochial country we've become. and thats just between people with even slightly different views to them. things have changed so much over the last few months. at the beginning of this outbreak so many were wanting to help others. now the opposite has happened where everyone seems to think its open season to have a pop at anyone even if they have facts or not about the situation.

All too predictably, the country plunges into the deepest recession since records began.

All too predictably, the country plunges into the deepest recession since records began. With Brexit in the post too. To quote Lily Tomlin, 'things are going to get a lot worse before they get worse'.

Which in turn can be blamed on Diane Abbott's calculator.

When the full Brexit catastrophe hits, Farage will have his work cut out to come up with a story that the news media will lap up to deflect from it all. Those TV crews chasing desperate people in the channel are all very well to act as "look over there" for idiots when it comes to deflecting from the Covid numbers, but it'll take something huge to make those same idiots ignore the Brexit clusterf*ck.

Fiddling the figures on Covid deaths begins too.
I’m still of the view that the excess deaths figure is the relevant one for an idea of the true picture, but doubt the methodology would have been changed if it were to give the opposite result...

They've got from for this, as I think I've mentioned before - fiddling the unemployment figures in the 80s. Trouble is, it works. Frustrates me immensely that the left are more ideologically "pure" and would prefer to argue amongst themselves over which progressive vision they should support, whilst the Tories recognise that under our electoral system all they have to do is lie and cheat and they'll regularly win. For all that he's an evil conniving little c**t, Cummings recognises this. He's got it sussed.

The north remembers how bad labour ruined our once great nation. Thank god for boris! Pesky Labour destroying industrial northern towns and communities by shutting all the mines, steel mills, and shipyards, whilst making no attempts at regeneration. No wait, my mistake, that was the Tories.
