Don’t see what there is to discuss. Stott said in his first interview following the takeover that we’d be remaining at EP and the ground would be developed in stages.
Leaving EP would be a massive own goal. There’s not many grounds as well placed as ours at any level of the footballing pyramid.

Any football ground within a five minute walk of a train station and shit load of pubs should be preserved at all costs. It’s one of the greatest things in life. When I came back in February I had to leave a few minutes from the end of the game and walking through terraced streets in the rain and hearing the crowd almost brought a tear to my eye. It’s uniquely English and we should cherish it. I bet if you asked fans of those of clubs who have moved, most would snap your hand off to move back.

Traditional, unique and full of memories. EP is a major part of Stockport County. I couldn’t ever imagine us playing anywhere else. I bet there’s absolutely no York fans that would choose the location of their new ground over Bootham Crescent.

Glanford Park is the prime example of what not to do. Only opened 32 years ago and they’re desperate to either move or redevelop. They’ve got the go ahead for a £30,000,000 redevelopment now which involves building four new stands one at a time. They should have just done that where they were rather than moving. As should we.

I've got to say chaps I'm persuaded by the arguments. I was much more keen on moving when sale were keeping all the money generated by the ground. On reflection I agree we should stay!

Changing rooms are currently being ripped out at EP and replaced with decent upgrades, loads of workers at the ground yesterday.

Yeah, they weren't much higher spec than average local park facilities, just a bit bigger.
Think there's plans for a big new megastore under the Cheadle End too, but that's been pushed back and the current shop is just getting tarted up a bit. We're definitely having the old Bury/City site for a few years at Carrington too.

This sort of activity, like whatever it is that has apparently been done in the Cheadle End, should surely be publicised more widely.... on the club website? Or Twitter feed?
Keeps people interested, stimulates discussion and is not exactly the sort of stuff you'd want to embargo news on. (Or is it?!)
Think the last 2 posts above make the point!

But I was told yesterday we were having the one Bury were in and the club are working on it now making it ready for use. We're currently training on EP three times a week.

A good time to do some redevelopment work of EP while the fans are not permitted due to this dreadful pandemic.
