Thomas will improve with better players around him. Jim likes him and that’s all that I need to know about his quality. will having better players around him give him a yard of extra pace or enable him to cross the ball without it being intercepted by the first defender he comes up against. i know jim seems to rate him, and every manager seems to have a player like that in the side who is not the most popular with the whole fan base. its about how the team performs with them in the side or not. will be keeping a big eye on the situation next season regarding results when thomas is in the side or not. When Thomas’s crosses hit the first defender and go out for a corner is that him not being good enough or is that him intentionally winning us corners? We do get a lot of corners and it’s better to win a corner when there’s no one in the box to gamble on a cross than to throw it into the middle to be cleared or claimed by the keeper.

It's definitely this. Jim has alluded to it in interviews before. He likes wingers to deliver low hard crosses to the near post. If a striker can't get on the end of it, it's more than likely that we'll win a corner from it

Loads of loans players that will come in throughout the season too. Sorry but I not sure about that, as I feel that now we have financial backing we can now obtain our own players and offer reasonable contracts. Jim may take a loan player with a view to a permanent move.

With 800 players searching for new teams, pros across English football are sending 'highlight reel' videos to clubs up and down the pyramid in the hope of securing a contract for next season ( lifted quote) its not just what they can do they need fit the profile JG is looking for we have had the rotten attitudes in the past but recently the players attitude has been refreshing .....what i dont want is for example... Armand Gnanduillet from Blackpool ....yes would be an ambitious signing 15 goals in 30 league 1 games but also it would be his 14th move in 8 years so the correct player profile is vital going forward

Granted a few loans while at Chesterfield but I wouldn’t call that nomadic.. 4 years with his last club?
