Moving on from keepers,Joe Bunney's been released by Bolton, he's played league football ever since leaving us and he's still only 26, he's a local lad (Gorton) not a rumour but a possible. Seem to remember him on twitter being delighted that he had made the right decision to leave us just before we got relegated. He probably was as he was maintaining his own league status, our club was a mess at the time.

Definitely been left back ever since he joined Rochdale That said, I might be misremembering but I'm sure he played as a striker when he was with our development squad

Amazing what can change in a year
This time last year i was slightly unhappy that we hadn't signed many players and kept with the same lads in the end that and some good loan player gave us a satisfactory season considering it was cut short This year isn't it refreshing to be linked with players we have a genuine chance of signing and looking forward to a new season (when it happens)

Jim said in his interview that Kitching reminds him of Jim McNulty which makes me think he'll be the 3rd centre half if we play a back three and cover for James Jennings but Hartlepool fans say he can play midfield aswell. I personally think we'll stick to 4-2-3-1 and play the same way we have the last 2/3 years with 2 holding midfielders Hinchliffe Minihan Palmer Hogan Jennings Maynard Keane Jennings Rooney Thomas Bennett No room for Reid in your starting 11? I'd be surprised as I think he'll be our star next season. If it was up to me he'd play, maybe on the left with Jennings on the right but Gannon loves Thomas and I can't see him being left out very often.

This Twitter account has popped up recently. Links us with Walker and Williams from Fylde and this fella from Lincoln.

These random Twitter accounts confuse me - some names could be picked from any messageboard but if you asked me to name 100 League 1 & 2 midfielders then A) I’d struggle and B) I most likely wouldn’t say Michael Bostwick, although I have heard of him. Which makes me think there must be something in it as why him!?

My guess would be most of the accounts are low level agents or ITK friends of agents rather than random people scrolling boards, although there are some of those out there.

Front 4 will be Jennings and Reid our wide and Bennett in front of Rooney....so far. Who knows who else is set to sign. JG did say that there will be some surprises yet.

Stockport County are interested in forward Jordan Williams. It's understood they made contact with the club and the players representative on Monday. #afcfylde #stockportcounty #jordanwilliams

Bostwick is a quality player. Great penalty taker aswell.
