Fair point but at one time or another they spent more than they should or they wouldn't have owed him, I fear the same could happen to us when we're in the Championship and a relegation or two could be the outcome. It takes a County fan to worry about promotion in case we get relegated later 😉 Not worried really, let's just enjoy the ride.

There’s a lot of their fans feeling hard done by and think the decision is unjustified. Apparently Stevenage staying up with 3 wins to their name is a joke. Wonder how many games Macc would have won had they assembled a team they could afford to pay. Bury were the same. Denied that they overspent before Steve Dale but weren’t they paying James Vaughan £4000 a week? They also signed Tom Pope when he was wanted by clubs with a much bigger fan base and set up than Bury had. Stewart Day and Steve Dale have gone leaving Bury fans without a club, they had no oversight of what their owners were up to, yes they celebrated the good times as we all would but it could happen to anyone. Macc on the other hand are a non league club and are now basically where they should be but they'll probably offer contracts they can't afford again next year. The Bury forum has just closed down and a new one set up in its place. The one that closed had the details of the fall outs between fans that went on throughout Day's 6 year tenure and a great many were sounding the alarms. It's not so much what you know but what you can do about it and the EFL who were party to their concerns did what they do best. The problem all Clubs are faced with is that an owners wealth has #### all to do with how good he or she will be as an owner. All you can do is hope that they are in place for the best of reasons and that the authorities have done their best to ensure that that is the case. As everyone knows the EFL have a poor reputation when it comes to protecting clubs from shysters. If there was an independent body in place that regulated the owners things may start to get better. As it stands the EFL Board consists of Board members from various Clubs - are they the right people to make decisions as to whether a potential owner is suitable or not? If Bury get Gigg Lane back they will get their identity back with it and be in the National North in 2025.

They're entitled to their opinions, we're as guilty as anyone, with the number of our fans laughing at the predicament AFC Fylde find themselves in, so lets not start criticising others, when we're equally to blame. I really couldn't care less whats going on at other clubs, i'm only interested in us

The Rochdale forum has over 300 pages on Bury's demise. thats because bury have always been seen as rochdales traditional main rivals for as long as i can remember. like rotherham and doncaster, hartlepool and darlington.

Similar to Preston v Blackpool, Blackburn v Burnley, Chesterfield v Mansfield.

I thought Oldham was the biggest thing for them think it could be a situation where dale have played bury much more than oldham over the last 50 years. we have over the last 60 years developed some rivalrys for a few seasons with loads of clubs. its a pity we cannot develop some local ones against teams we may play again. people might not like two clubs with manchester in their names, but barring a miracle we will never play either in a league game. they are hardly local rivels.
