Zombie Dust, you lucky man, I love that beer! Was lucky enough to visit the brewery a couple of years ago. It’s available through the Mikkeller webshop now and then Terrific, isn't it? There are a few advantages to living in Indiana ; ) I'm glad you got to the brewery but also that Zombie Dust is becoming slightly more widely available. Until last year, 3 Floyds released limited amounts and even here you'd rarely find it on liquor store shelves, even the good ones: you had to sidle up to the counter and ask, and they'd furtively fetch a six-pack from out back or under the till, like a clumsy drug deal. Or two if if you were lucky. And oftentimes you had to be there on delivery day, they sold out that fast. 3 Floyds always wanted to keep a sort of ridiculous mystique around it. But then again, it is a ridiculously good beer; pretty much my favourite if I was pressed to choose. Nowadays you easily find it even in supermarkets. I've considered attending Dark Lord Day (celebrating the annual launch of their Russian Imperial Stout, 15% abv) but it all seems a bit overblown. 3 Floyds make superb beer but evidently they are slightly up themselves. www.darklordday.com/ www.3floyds.com/beer/dark-lord/

I like Foggy Geezer.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit warpigs a few times when visiting cph. I’ve tried a good few varieties of dark lord, including plenty of the BA versions, but have never been blown away and subscribe to the school that compares it to sweet soy sauce

I don't find the taste as enjoyable (although admit that I don't have the most sophisticated palette) and won't drink them just for the sake of it. With some exceptions, like a good Baltic Porter. I find 5 to 8% plenty, and more drinkable.

For anyone like me living in Macc or around this way, R&G Beer Vault is amazing and would recommend visiting. You can message them and ask them to put together an order for you which given they have 300 odd beers is great. Red Willow also do same day delivery in the area or next day if you're within Stockport area. They do some great beers, including a new smoked lager which is absolutely spot on. Did you get to try the pumpkin spice latte? Superb in a can better when they had it on draft but pricey.... 7 a can 19 for a growler.

Beer's quite samey here in Spain, all gassy lager but I enjoyed a couple at a bar today. [brl Love the family Mahou (esp the green one). On offer for the two for £16 at Asda at the moment but we only get the red. At least its still an import rather than brewed under license. What a way to wreck beers that is.

Anyone had any decent non-alcoholic beer? Technically, 'non alcoholic' is 0.5% or below. To support a local brewery during current tough times, and during Lent, here in Brum I have drinking 0.5% Sober Brummie. Very drinkable, punches above its ABV.

Posted further up but Beavertown Lazer Crush is the best I’ve had. Free Damm is decent too (same brewery as Estrella which I didn’t realise straight away). Keen to try the Brewdog Hazy AF but haven’t seen anywhere that stocks it. Nanny State by them is grim. Steer clear.

Sorry if I sound like a proper knuckle dragger, but I'd rather drink a cold vimto or a warm brew than bother fannying about trying to find a decent non alcoholic beer. A cup of tea/coffee or a nice cold juice drink is often more enjoyable than a beer, especially if the beer is alcohol free.

Tiny Rebel have started doing some, ive not tried any but it might be worth looking on their site, their normal beers are great.

Someone mentioned Beatnikz earlier in the thread, really like their beers and also regularly frequented their bar pre-pandemic.
Shindigger is another favourite brewery of mine.
I've placed quite a few orders with Thirst Class over the last 6 months, free delivery in Stockport and a great selection of ales.

Thirst Class should be another brewery that County talk to, local beer, get it on the pumps instead of the usual crap. Still absolutely no idea why our clubs / most others haven't gone down this route. Salford are tied in with Seven Brothers, Huddersfield with Magic Rock, FC United have a good selection if you've ever "visited" their home end during a County game. Been saying for years, let's get involved. Much more likely to have people come along early and spend their money rather than making the choice between Robbies Gold and Strongbow Dark Fruits!

Yep, been saying for years if we could get a decent pint and get a pie from Ate Days a Week I'd be in the ground for 2pm every week spending money, even at the inflated prices you'd expect in a ground. As it is, I almost pride myself on not having spent a penny in the ground for well over a decade now.

Now we’ve got the tie in with Heineken, I wonder if we’ll be seeing Beavertown at the ground? Always enjoyed their beers, obviously Heineken getting a stake in them makes you wonder if they’ll mess about with the beers and ruin it all but seems to have remained consistent.
It’s hardly local produce but a step up on the grim piss that’s been served up for years.

It’s available through the Mikkeller webshop now and then If anyone gets out to Budapest once lockdown is open not only is it a great place for bars but there is also now a very decent small brewery that does tours. It’s a little way out of the town centre but well worth a visit.
