We've gone for a more modern pub feel with inspirations from my favourite New York bars where you can sit along the long bar and watch the telly's showing all live sports(including F1 & golf which aren't sports but thats for another chat 😂,) live music, great food and a bigger range of beers and spirits with currently 49 rums and 34 whiskeys available. Upstairs will stay very similar in decor but will be having a brand new bar and floor put in in the next couple of weeks. Re: toilets william72, we've looked at how to change these but it's a structural issue and they're load bearing the roof, which is hampering us ripping them out and putting brand new in. It'll come soon though! New York bar. That's exactly how I would describe it actually. Enjoyed quite a few dark rums sitting at the bar last week. Good luck Buzzing that it’s translated from my chaotic mind to realisation 😁

Quoting myself here but he very much gave the impression of being a County fan on the crossbar challenge video he did with Horsfall and Sarce, but the MEN have him as a United fan so God knows! Edit: Football League World says he is a County fan! 🤔

As i do not live in the town this thread has little importance for me. Saying that i imagine on the wrexham board they will have seen less positive developments in their town. Places like hartlepool and bradford would still be on their first page.

Wrexham's starting to see things happen now and for all the bluster around Rob'n'Ryan, the positive impact of what all that's doing for the town's profile shouldn't be underestimated.
Wrexham was a town absolutely dying on its arse. My wife and I wandered around the centre one day and it genuinely upset her to see the state of the place she grew up in, given what it had been. It's a different place now. It's still got a way to go, but it's definitely a place on the up.

Those we have no interest in football down to those who actually hate the game do not realise having a succesfull football team in their town helps its development. Can go back to what the mayor of accrington said when they resigned from the league in the 60,s. Said it was the worst thing to happen for the town and not just the football club. A rare occasion a local politician did speak sense.

Decided to have a few scoops today to continue the celebrations. Come to the new 'sound bar' on lower hill gate/underbank, Odioba. Pint of shindigger session IPA, can of schofferhoffer, coke, and a sprite - over 17 quid.
Can't see it lasting long at those prices. Don't mind paying for unusual beer, but that's ridiculous.

Most of these new places are the same. I like them but couldn't afford to frequent them regularly. I hope there's a demographic out there who can though because it's great having a wider variety of places to go. Went inside the new bus station last night for the first time. Very smart. The riverside bit is still a building site though. Looking forward to seeing what they do with that.

No idea what a sound bar is so I read their website and still don't. Is it just that they have music on but they're really snobby/gatekeepery about it?
