As far as we're aware, yes. It's still in the pipeline for a Spring opening according to word on the street. Are you leaving stockport mate? Real shame but understandable if it is so quiet in the Markets again. The market's as popular as it's ever been, considering the pandemic it's held up really well.

Ate Days A Week is moving to Manchester City centre but Notion is staying and there's plans in place to increase the offering in the bar and expand into what was Ate Days π

I wish that was true Vic. It's gone from being a consistently good, solid 7 day passing trade to Sunday to Thursday ghost town and people only seem to be around Friday & Saturday these days π’ it seems to have been amplified by the recent spike in cases as well.

That strip between the town hall and the library is pretty grim (excluding the Wellington) and not a great advert for passing A6 traffic. Seems to be rundown shops for nails, tanning, vaping and fast food. Not sure what the answer is TBH

Whereabouts in the City Centre? Can't say the exact address until we sign the contract in the next few days but it's right by the town hall/St Peters Square π A proper good location and 20 seconds away from the tram stop.

Said for a long time now that the Grove as a centre is dead.. Stockport to Manchester bits are almost all livelier and better.. and they are struggling. The recent upswing in Stockport market area once a week is the only positive. We keep moving South for atmosphere. My Friday nights out are now usually Poynton.

I imagine that will be a listed building so any flats will be built within the existing structure. Real shame this. Although it seems to indicate the bulls head will be reopenin

Although it seems to indicate the bulls head will be reopenin Yeah I would imagine the unicorn brewery itself will stay and be converted and the remainder will get new buildings done in a style in keeping with the area. Means even more bodies in the centre which on top of weir mill and the sainsburys site can only mean good things. Will be interesting to see any plans.

Proper shame about Robinsons moving, nearly 200 years of history in the town centre. Do a cracking brewery tour there, the premises were a big part of the charm - not sure it'll have the same effect in the new place.
Least it's staying in Stockport though
Not sure how viable it would be, but would be nice if they could establish a Unicorn Inn on the site before leaving so that Robinsons can still continue there in some form. I admit this is very unlikely however.
