12th min of injury time for that Quigley chance too.

Clearly a man that has watched too much p0rn and thinks all round the country loads of innocent day to day work interactions end up like this, hope he never drives a taxi! God help him if his step-Mum ever gets herself stuck in the washing machine. Jokes aside, I hope he was never let near any of his employers' ladies' teams

That 2-2 against Chesterfield was superb. I think I'd still be celebrating now if Quigley had got one the end of Crankshaw's cross, was literally the last kick of the game. There was that big furore about our potential goal at the Cheadle End too, I'm still not having the ref/liner can confidently give that. Another detail I remember is MSG chasing a pointless ball back to their keeper, not really putting him under any pressure, but then being out of position for their second. Challinor called him out on it, something like 'a vanity run'. Highlights are great. Monosodium Glutamate. He was addictive to watch, but could get a bit salty

Gets sent off, heads toward the tunnel then suddenly turns around because he's had the great idea of pretending to be injured on the pitch for a waste of five minutes.

Jeff King's sending off was one of the highlights of the season. He'd been giving it the big one to the Pop Side in the first half and engaging in all manner of shithousery. Luckily for Chesterfield his utterly ridiculous behaviour didn't affect them as they won the league that night...
I'm really too old to be bearing grudges against opposition players, especially when we've come out on top anyway. But I'm prepared to make an exception for that absolute bellend.

Is it a grudge when, as you say, we came out on top in the end? Seems more like a fond and funny memory at his expense IMO

I carried it into the game at their place and laughed my arse off when he missed a vital penalty in their play off final v Notts. Chesterfield played him less and less last season and didn't renew his contract at the end of it. Now barely getting a game for current car-crash outfit Swindon. Still laughing at him.
It's a grudge.

Nah, I still can't stand Mark Stein, Wayne 'so far offside that he's still not yet onside' Biggins or Ted McMinn (and he's no longer on this earth, god rest his soul)!

All right thinking County fans took an instant dislike to Biggins jnr when we played against him never mind his dad. Never forgive, never forget. Is McMinn dead? I knew he'd lost a leg, or part of one

I feel better now, I can hate the cheat just as much as I did and not feeling guilty about it!

I had a banter with him a while back on X/twitter, he was a good laugh to be fair and loved the villain role. I told him I hated him, as did every county fan but he was very funny and could take the banter, made me hate him a bit less…. In fact.. no it didn’t
