Had no idea that that Ted McMinn had had part of his foot then, more of his leg amputated by choice. Fair play to him for riding from Glasgow to Derby to raise money for Derby hospital. I've spent all these years vehemently hating the cheating little shit but now feel a bit bad about that. Time to let bygones be bygones on that one. He's now in his 60's, I sometimes forget my own age & how long ago things happened! I have them stuck in my mind still at the age of when incidents occurred!

Didn't know which thread to post this in, it might be of interest to some people as there were a lot of rumours at the time.
Went for the Non League thread as I think it was probably more relevant to our last season in the NL rather than the current Chesterfield team and club that is in the FL.
The James Rowe saga did contribute to Chesterfield's drop off, that and Tshimanga's injury. People forget they were the main challengers for a good majority of the great November-May run. Wrexham only really became the main challengers in the late March from I what I remember.
And to add to this, Fylde (who don't and never will belong in any Football League thread) and their nutcase owner appointed him despite knowing all this.
was yesterday but hes been found NOT guilty

Just checked the NLN table and see out friends at Curzon and doing well and FO Chorley as well. Even southport with there County connection of Festus Arthur and Danny LLoyd are having their best season for years being in the PO positions after their last two victories.
