I thought we'd established that camps is injured and out for a month with his shoulder Seems more a rumour than anything confirmed by the Club. Confirmed by DC

Can we sign Cody Johnson on to as long a contract as we're allowed to at his age? Please and thank you.

Great to hear about Johnson and Pye if they are good enough they’re old enough etc.

Exactly, and I think it's all but certain Paddy won't be here next season. Could Madden on a season long loan (no recall clause) and subsidised wages sweeten the deal? Send 'em Stretton instead

No inside knowledge but I definitely think we’re going to see a striker of some sort come in.
DC has already seemingly gone off the idea of wingers so I think the money for a right-sided Barry will now go towards a proper centre forward.
3412 with Powell as a 10 getting into pockets between the lines.
GK Hinchliffe/Smith RCB Knoyle/Wright CB Horsfall/Byrne LCB Touray/Pye RWB MSH/Richardson LWB Rydel/Hippolyte DM Croasdale/Macdonald or Johnson CM Collar/Sarcevic/Camps AM Powell/Evans Two FWDs Wootton/New striker/Madden/Barry/Tanto
I think Crankshaw will move on and Camps will hang around until Jan and go. Potentially Evans will end up out on loan if Powell keeps fit and the likes of Sarcevic and Madden step into the back up AM role.

Not sure DC does but I think if we stuck to that formation/squad we’d defo go up.

That’s our ideal set up with this squad and I hope you’re right we’re in for someone up top. As mentioned elsewhere we regularly concede late goals to throw away points but rarely score or even look like scoring late in games.

One of the Wrexham ITKers reckons that they've had a £300k bid for Armstrong turned down. Harrogate apparently holding out for £500k. Sounds like wishful thinking on Harrogate's part.

There always seems a maximum price paid for players in non league, div.1 and 2. At armstrongs age i think he is just a league 1/2 player a bit like luke beckett was. Know he is a few years younger but he is no better than paddy was when we signed him and paddy has more about in in the game. I,d have snatched wrexhams hand off if i was them and they,ll end up with a player with a chip on his shoulder if they price themselves out and he might not give them 100 per cent if he is still with them in september.

Think Sarcevic is the backup AM already too, just has been playing deeper due to injuries. Get McDonald and Armstrong and I think we’re ready for the season. Left-sided defender (either LWB or LCB) on loan if Hippo’s absence looks a long one would be the cherry on top.

Don’t disagree with some of that, but from their point of view selling him hugely increases their odds of dropping out of the league. Given that, and reported interest from a number of well-backed clubs, I understand why they’re holding out to see how much they can get. That said, I think they should just give him to us for 50p plus a squad player.
