How can Dave Challinor need (since April) a competent LCB (who can both defend and pass the ball to a colleague in the same colour shirt more than once in a blue moon) see the Transfer Window close without signing one; only to add an experienced Left Back (after the window has closed FFS)with the potential to fill that gaping hole in our Squad..?
And not try him out there in this game..?
He lost the plot 5 weeks ago.
He is indefensible now.
He has to go.

Did anyone have earlier than 20th September on the first ‘Challinor out’ bingo card?

I don’t want** him sacked, I want him to sort this problem out and hopefully we can bumble our way to January keeping our heads above water & see some real movement in & out with the playing squad although it’s massively concerning seeing us seemingly get worse by the week.
Only County would win a league, spend a shit load of money on wages, sell 000’s of season tickets and spectacularly make a balls of it.

You've been waiting to post this for about a month. No, I was right about a month ago; but I take no pleasure whatsoever from that (which is unusual for me because I am not one of those people who hates to say I told you so😂) I wanted him to wake the f*ck up

For me I’ll see where we are early December.
No manager is coming in and getting much more out of this horrendously constructed squad.
I’d be clean sweeping DOF and our recruitment department now and getting a proper structure of people who know what they’re doing in place for January where we’ll a good handful in and out.

Ignoring every other factor and looking purely at records…
Rusk was sacked after 12 league games, having W5 D2 L5.
Under Challinor we have P9 W2 D2 L5. Even if we win our next 3 we’re only equal to where we were last year (see my first sentence before pointing out we’re a league higher).
A couple of dire defeats/performances and I think he’s gone unfortunately. I don’t want him out by any stretch by the way. I think he can and will turn this around if he’s still here.

We're not going to entice anyone who's doing well higher up the league as our pulling power is diminished whilst we sit in the lower half of the table, the window is shut so a new guy still has to work with what we've got until January, So we'd be left with employing someone who's out of work (probably down to them being crap) or trying to entice someone from below our level. I'm not happy with things at the moment but don't want Challinor sacked, that reeks of Salford if we go down that route this early. He has to be given until at least just before the window re-opens. If things are still the way they are now then, at least we could maybe entice someone half decent by giving them the prospect of a window to bring new blood in?

Let's not be one of these clubs that change manager after a bad run of form, let's instead back the man who transformed our season last year rather than jump on his back at the first opportunity we get.

Outside of the Premier League/Championship higher echelons there isn’t a Football Manager in the land who wouldn’t want a Club with money and an infrastructure to match the ambition of a highly motivated wealthy owner… Finding a replacement for Challinor is a piece of piss

Or he is cup tied as he played for Port Vale against us in this competition

We have been wank for the best part of six months I’ve lost count (and the motivation to keep checking tbh) but that is approximately the fourteenth loss out of twenty three games It’s just not good enough
