I didn't want this to get lost in the FL thread so forgive me for starting a new one. It's looking certain that Mansfield are nailed on for a top 3 spot. Despite everything this past few weeks, I'm still fairly confident 🤞 we'll make it and go up with them. That's 2 spots sorted. But 3rd? F.C. Hollywood, Crewe or Franchise?
A Hobsons choice if ever there was one.
Non of them have got any redeeming features but who do want/think will go up in that other automatic spot?

I want us, Mansfield and Wrexham to go up...hopefully we will win the league, but if not, then hope it's Mansfield. I don't care if we finish 2nd or 3rd with Wrexham.

I have no major angst about them. Whereas, for some reason, I really dislike Wrexham

The club stealers a very distant second just ahead of the nonces. I’m still hoping Barrow sneak into third behind us and Mansfield.

I'd like them to come up with us. I have no major angst about them. Whereas, for some reason, I really dislike Wrexham If Crewe had immediately held their hands up and said “this club f*cked up, we will do everything we can to prevent it happening again” and f*cking owned it like Chelsea and City did - then I’d still hate them as a local rival but not near as intensely as I do. They didn’t do that. They denied everything, refused to apologise for years. Then when they finally put something out vaguely in the direction of an apology they still made a thing about it not being us but previous ownership and all these caveats. f*ck them. Dirty vile club.

It's a bit like being asked would you prefer a headbutt to the face or a kick in the bollocks! I dislike all 3 clubs for different reasons but if pushed I'd say Crewe (through gritted teeth), Purely because it's a nice easy away day, Cheshire derby, & I'd like to bump into the little scrotes who smashed our seats & toilets up.

Would rather have a Barrow resurgence and them sneak into 3rd spot. Just don't fancy Wrexham getting back to back promotion, partly because it was almost assumed by some of their fans at the start of the season, plus we'd never hear the end of it.

Genuine question. Who are "Crewe". Like, when you say "if Crewe had..." who do you mean? And what would County have done any differently at all if the same situation had arisen. Do you genuinely, for real, think that an amorphous mass of around 15,000 hardcore fans, 50,000 floating fans, and 100,000 casually interested people (random numbers plucked from thin air) would have reacted in a different way? If you do, then I have a sizeable bridge to sell you... There are indisputably c*nts on an individual level in the Crewe organisation and fan base. But, god's sake, be realistic. I once got a f*cking phone call to my personal mobile phone threatening me, and my family, for the crime of asking questions on Yellowboard about the motives of certain people within the club... Literally "I know where you and your children live". That's a direct quote. All clubs have c*nts within their midst mate. Every single one.

The denial and avoidance then eventual non apology apology (when they could deny no more) came from the people who own and run that football club. That’s the club. And so the club can get f*cked as can every fan who stood by it. Plenty of people hate Wrexham because of their owners. Their owners didn’t do anything like what happened, and then was denied, at Crewe.

Insufferable in my opinion. I'd literally rather Crewe went up as Champions (and us 3rd) if it meant Wrexham blobbing it. Eurgh. Imagine the f*cking news
