Works for the Premier League’s most expensive player… Also worked for the best player in the Saudi League... I haven't seen much of Anderson Talisca but I'll take your word for it.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say I really like Hussey. I think he’s a decent player, he’s played a big part in our season. Just want him to stop collapsing every game.

Can’t mention Hussey without talking about how he throws him myself to the floor multiple times a game too, usually when he’s run out of ideas or ran himself into a corner. I know it often wins us a free kick but it’s pretty poor to see him doing that at the slightest touch. This winds me up. He literally does it every time! It’s this type of gamesmanship that is the most annoying part of the modern game.

But how many times have we seen it mentioned on here that we have to be more streetwise, learn the dark arts, and be more shithousery as we have had it done to us multiple times especially early in the season when we appeared to be too naive. Cant have it both ways.

Hussey's not alone in it either; Myles does it a lot too and is very effective at it.

I work with a Dale fan and he really rates Camps, but said he was getting a bit tired at the Club and it was time to move on. Camps has a lot of experience at League One level with Rochdale and Fleetwood (8 seasons) and I guess DC wants to bring in some quality players from a higher level. A real shame he isn't performing though, not impressed at all. Cannon seems the better option. Shame we didn’t buy Cannon as well. All Camps needs is a good run of games. I like him and he has a lot of experience from playing in League One. They both spent five to six years together at Rochdale. Yes, if only we had two players who have lovely technical quality but lack an engine or much physicality, in order to play a style of football that’s utterly dependent on midfielders that can press and run all day. I really don’t get the Cannon nostalgia on here - he was a decent player for us and it was a nice story, but he’s very similar to Camps in strengths and weaknesses. I’ve defended Camps in the past but found him very frustrating yesterday. He’s a good footballer but struggling to see how he fits into our midfield at present. Hope it comes good for him, though.

Agreed AB - I don’t see that much in Cannon last season. He was alright. Camps is alright. We need different type of player. They need to be all action box to box. Combative, score goals and get assists and must have a great engine. The las tbit is where Sarce has struggled a bit and where I think Camps also struggles.

It seems to get some credit when it’s called shithousery as if it’s clever or something but it’s just a different shade of cheating and being dishonest. Other teams may do it, good luck to them. We shouldn’t need to.

I'd love to hear a recently retired player talk about this part of the game more and his views on whether it's got worse in recent years... especially a player from the levels County have been playing at recently.

Doesn’t have to be. We’re choosing to do it. It’s not a huge problem atm, we’re pretty good at playing the right way which is why Hussey diving, which is a fairly minor thing, stands out so much. There’s no need for us to do it and I’d hate it we follow other clubs and cheat our way through games, because that’s what it is.

If we have an end of season ‘75-yard Sprint to Score a Goal’ award, can I nominate Ryan Croasdale ?
Watching Ryan’s run - rather than the ball - is very interesting in terms of pace, timing into the box, coordination, finish, and so on; great goal.

not very level headed this week, was getting angrier and angrier today with the lack of urgency and seeming endeavour to win the game, I've just about calmed down now 😂😂 It was infuriating to watch… I was effing and jeffing at the TV.. no urgency at all. At one point one of our defenders kicked the ball away from a Swindon player for their throw in when we were supposed to be pushing for a goal and they were trying to time waste. I’d have been livid if I was Challinor. A bit odd.. but don’t really sense any degree of frustration in Challinor’s post match interview.. there should have been. I saw that and thought at the time, why is he kicking the ball away - we need a goal! Thankfully Madden then went and chased the ball down to get the game going.
